Amanda Serenevy

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Indiana University South Bend and a PhD in mathematics from Boston University. In 2006, Amanda and her husband Dean founded the Riverbend Community Math Center. Amanda continues to serve as the executive director, leading professional development sessions for teachers in our community and hands-on math activities for people of all ages. 

At Sibley, Amanda co-leads Science Fair Saturdays.

Lauren Meyer

Lauren graduated from Riley High School in 2020. While at Riley Lauren was on the girl's swim team all four years. At Riley she was also a member of a number of clubs including Magnet Ambassadors, NHS, Student Council, etc. She attends Rose-Hulman Institution of Technology and studies biomedical engineering. She also swims for Rose-Hulman. 

Jennifer McBride

 

Benjamin Eich

Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from IU South Bend and is currently studying a Master of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at IU South Bend. Benjamin focuses on writing scripts with Python, web development with Javascript, and app development with Java.

Benjamin currently works as an Application Development Intern at the Sibley Center.

William Blacketor

William (Bill) Blacketor graduated from Saint Joseph High School in 2020. He will be attending Michigan Technological University in the fall to study mechanical engineering. He is passionate about skiing, the environment and innovation. 

This summer was his first year as a Conexus intern at the Sibley Center.  During the summer he primarily focused on helping with the circuits portion for the virtual summer camp and making louvers for Lippert.  . 

Michael_Dunham

Michael Dunham

Michael graduated from John Adams High School in 2020. He will be attending Purdue University in the fall, and plans to major in mechanical engineering, with a minor in Spanish. He is passionate about sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and working with local community leaders and businesses. 

This summer was his first with Sibley, and he primarily focused on designing the entrepreneurship curriculum for the virtual summer camp for the local Boys and Girls club. He also helped design a promotional video for the RealWear device, and make Louvers for Lippert.

Jacob_Frabutt

Jacob Frabutt

Jacob Frabutt is a graduate of Saint Joseph High School in South Bend in the Class of 2020. He is in his second year as a Conexus intern, but first year at Sibley Center. He has enrolled at the University of Notre Dame where he plans to study computer science.

Some projects he's been a part of at Sibley include aiding the design and instruction of an electronics summer camp, working on the Sibley Center website, and assisting with work on app development for the Real Wear device. 

McKenna_Leichty

McKenna Leichty

McKenna graduated from John Adams High School in June of 2020. She plans to attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall to study astrophysics. Outside of school, McKenna was a part of the John Adams girls' basketball team all four years. She also participated in quiz bowl, the National Honor Society, and the John Adams Volunteer Association.

This is her first year working at Sibley Center where she helped run a summer camp for the Boys and Girls Club about entrepreneurship and electronics. 

Clay_Scholz

Clay Scholz

Clay is graduated from Penn High School in May of 2021. He plans on attending Purdue Fort-Wayne to obtain a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In Clay’s personal time he practices working on small engineering projects and develops his 3D CAD modeling skill. 

He can’t get enough of us! He is joining us for a 3rd year as a conexus intern. he develops 3D parts and templates, helps instruct the electronics portion of the virtual summer camp, as well as maintains and runs the 3D printer at the Sibley Center.
